One of the biggest gifts project-based learning can give us is the chance for students to be more engaged and excited about their learning. But what happens when they're not? It's a horrible feeling to have planned what YOU think will be an interesting and meaningful project for students, only to find they are just. not. that. into. it. (Believe me, I've tried it!) While sometimes even the best planned projects fall flat, there are ways to plan for student engagement that will improve your chances of making learning in projects exciting. Everyone wins when students are engaged!
